Botox and Jeuveau injections are popular for reducing wrinkles and fine lines by relaxing facial muscles, giving a smoother and younger appearance. Both provide temporary results, typically lasting 3 to 4 months.
Common treatment areas include foreheads, crow’s feet, and between the eyebrows (frown lines). More advanced use of these muscle-relaxing agents can include neck tightening, facial slimming, neck tension, and jaw pain related to TMJ, clenching or grinding (bruxism). They may also be used to treat excessive sweating of the hands, feet and underarms.
